Stewardship Campaign
The ways that we give of our time, talents, and finances have a direct impact on the effectiveness and reach of our ministries.
2027 Stewardship Theme
This year our Stewardship theme is
"Give Us ALL This Day Our Daily Bread"
Mathew 6:11 and Luke 11:3
God has BIG dreams for the world and for Hillcrest. Our faithful generosity will help us to live into those dreams as a community of faith.
Commitment Sunday
This year our Commitment Sunday is November 22nd. We'll make our commitments to support the church with time, talent and finances during our worship service. Then we'll celebrate those commitments during our Thanksgiving Lunch (followed by our annual pie auction)!
Campaign Prayer
Give us ALL this day our daily bread.
We all care about food. Good food. Nourishment.
Every human being on this earth shares that need.
That common concern.
For some, it is a daily struggle.
For some, it is a matter of life and death.
Give us ALL this day our daily bread.
We care about eating right, eating healthy.
Kansas is a breadbasket for the world.
Our farmers grow fields of wheat across this state to feed the world.
Many of our neighbors work in the food industry.
In restaurants. In bakeries. In grocery stores. In food pantries. On farms.
O God, give us ALL this day our daily bread.
This is our common prayer for humanity.
"All means ALL."
May no child go to bed hungry tonight.
This is our prayer, O God.
