Hillcrest offers fellowship and enrichment programs for youth of all ages.
 

Acolyte Program

The Acolyte program is one of education, inspiration, and participation for children ages 6 and above. "Acolyte" is derived from the Greek word akolouthos and designates one who is a devoted follower and who assists in the action of a worship service. Hillcrest’s Acolyte program involves the children in lighting the Lord’s Table candles each Sunday during our morning worship services.  

There are four acolyte training sessions throughout the year for the children to rehearse their responsibilities and to learn more about the rich and deep meanings of the various elements of worship.
